Delete your account

You can permanently delete your account at any time. This is irreversible, so please read carefully.

What gets deleted

• Your account, profile, and message history on our servers.
• You'll be removed from all your groups.

How to delete

1. Go to Settings → Account → Delete My Account.
2. Enter your phone number to confirm and tap Delete.

Consider exporting anything you want to keep first. If you're only switching phones, you don't need to delete — just change your number or sign in on the new device.
