Create your KT Messenger account

Getting started with KT Messenger takes about a minute. All you need is a phone number — no email or social account required.

Set up your account

1. Download KT Messenger from the App Store, Google Play, or get the desktop app from our Download page.
2. Open the app and enter your phone number. We'll send you a 6‑digit verification code by SMS.
3. Enter the code to confirm it's really you.
4. Add your name and an optional profile photo. You're ready to chat.

Why a phone number?

Your phone number is how friends find you and how we keep your account secure. It is never shown publicly, and you control exactly who can see it under Settings → Privacy.

• Turn on two‑step verification for an extra layer of protection.
• Link the desktop app so you can chat from your computer.
