Who can see your photo, About and last seen

Open Settings → Privacy to decide, item by item, who sees what.

What you can control

• Profile photo
• About
• Last seen and online
• Who can add you to groups

Each is set to Everyone, My contacts or Nobody, and you can exclude specific contacts from My contacts.

Last seen is mutual

If you hide your last seen, you won't see other people's either. That's deliberate — it keeps the setting fair in both directions.

Read receipts

Turning read receipts off stops others seeing your blue ticks, and stops you seeing theirs. Group chats always show read receipts.
