What is a community?

A community gathers related groups under one roof — a school, a club, a building, a company — so the people in them can be reached together without merging every conversation into one enormous group.

What's inside

• An announcement group that everyone in the community belongs to, where only admins post.
• Any number of ordinary groups: one per class, team, floor or topic.

What members see

Members choose which groups to join, but everyone receives announcements. Members of one group can't see the messages of a group they haven't joined.

Privacy

Every group in a community is end-to-end encrypted exactly like any other group chat. Community admins can see the list of members, but never the contents of groups they aren't in.
