Verification badges

A verified badge marks an account KT has confirmed is genuinely who it says it is — typically a business, a public figure or an official channel.

Apply

Go to Settings → Verification and submit the requested details. Applications are reviewed by our team; we'll tell you either way.

What it means

• The badge appears next to the name, in chats, groups and channels.
• It confirms identity only — it isn't an endorsement, and it doesn't change what the account can do.

Nobody at KT will ever ask you to pay an individual for a badge, or to hand over your verification code.
