Report a problem or a user

Reporting sends our moderation team the recent messages from that chat, channel or group so they can act.

Report a contact or group

Open the chat's ⋮ menu → Report. You can block at the same time, which also stops any further contact.

Report a message, post or channel

Open the message's own menu and choose Report. Channels and their posts can be reported from the same place.

What happens next

• Reports are reviewed against our policies; repeated violations lead to limits or removal.
• The person you reported is never told who reported them.
