Notifications and sounds

Open Settings → Notifications to decide what reaches you and how.

Per-chat control

Muting one noisy group is usually enough: open the chat's menu and choose Mute notifications for eight hours, a week, or always. Muted chats show a crossed-out bell in the list.

Across the app

• Turn message, group and call notifications on or off separately.
• Choose whether previews of the message text appear.
• Pick the sound KT plays for incoming messages and calls.

On the web

Your browser has to allow notifications as well. If you dismissed that prompt, re-enable KT Messenger in your browser's site settings.
