Your own chat is the fastest place to park a link, a photo or a thought you don't want to lose.

Search for your own name in the chat list, or pick yourself when starting a new chat. It appears as (You).

What it's good for

• Moving a file between your phone and your computer.
• Keeping a note, a shopping list or an address to hand.
• Forwarding something you want to read later.

Everything you send yourself syncs to your linked devices, and it's encrypted like any other chat. For longer-form writing, use Notes instead.
