Mentions in groups

Type @ in a group and pick a member to mention them.

What a mention does

• They get a notification even if the group is muted.
• The group shows an @ badge in your inbox so you can see you were mentioned.

Finding your mentions

The @ badge on a chat row means there's an unread message that names you. Open the chat and it's highlighted.

Mention sparingly — a mention overrides someone's mute, which is exactly why it should mean something.
