Keyboard shortcuts

KT on the desktop and the web supports shortcuts for the things you do constantly. The full list lives under Settings → Keyboard shortcuts.

The ones worth learning

• Search — jump straight to the search box.
• New chat — start a conversation without reaching for the mouse.
• Next / previous chat — move through the list.
• Emoji picker — open it from the keyboard.
• Send — Enter sends; Shift+Enter starts a new line.

Formatting as you type

Wrap text in *asterisks* for bold, _underscores_ for italic, ~tildes~ for strikethrough and three backticks for a code block.
