If your account is restricted

Accounts are restricted when our review team finds activity that breaks our policies — usually bulk unsolicited messaging, impersonation, or content reported by many people.

What you'll see

The app tells you the account is restricted and why, and sending is disabled.

Appeal

You can request a review from inside the app — the appeal screen stays reachable even while restricted. Explain what you use the account for; a human reads it.

Avoiding it

• Message people who expect to hear from you.
• Don't send the same message to large lists of strangers.
• Don't impersonate anyone.
