Control your privacy settings

Fine‑tune who can see your information under Settings → Privacy.

What you can control

• Last seen & online — Everyone, My Contacts, or Nobody.
• Profile photo, About, and Status — choose who can view each one.
• Read receipts — turn the blue ticks off (note: you won't see others' read receipts either).
• Groups — decide who can add you to groups.

App lock

Add an extra lock to the app itself with a PIN, fingerprint, or face unlock under Settings → Privacy → App Lock, so your chats stay private even if someone has your unlocked phone.
