Add or link groups to a community

A community is only useful once it has groups in it. You can create new ones or bring existing groups in.

Create a new group

1. Open the community, or the community chip in any of its chats.
2. Choose Add group, name it and pick who to add.

Link a group you already have

Choose Link existing group and pick one of the groups you administer. Its members keep their history; the group simply gains the community's announcements.

Removing a group

Unlinking a group takes it out of the community but doesn't delete it — the conversation carries on as an ordinary group.
